Helicopter External Hanging fuel tank is three-dimensional guarantee equipment for fuel newly developed by the enterprise and research unit. It is mainly used for three-dimensional fuel supply in contingency situations when other means of supply fails. Helicopter external hanging fuel tank is made up of
(1) octagon fuel storage container bonded by special technology of antistatic laminate fabric coated with polyurethane on both sides;
(2) suspension bag made by biaxial weaving, high-strength and tearing-resistant laminate fabric coated with polyurethane on both sides.
Bag is equipped with self sealing valve for filling and pumping fuel from the fuel bag. While supplying fuel for equipment, pressure controller can be used to open self sealing valve. The filling of fuel will be stopped when the pressure in the fuel tank reaches operating pressure. A hanging basket is installed on the top of suspension bag for external hanging of helicopter.
